There were bodies and tents as far as you could see from atop the hill looking north on Pine Street Saturday despite the warmer-than-normal temperatures. Tomah Ambulance personnel said they had 20 cases of attendees and volunteers getting overwhelmed by the 100-degree heat index, including three taken to the hospital. Herald photo by Tim Evans.

Despite oppressive heat, over 135,000 attend Cranfest

Despite hosting the warmest Cranberry Festival of all time, an estimated 135,000 to 140,000 visitors came to Warrens this past weekend, Kim Schroeder, General Manager of the festival said this week
