CASHTON - Harriet Lindner, age 91, of Cashton, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, at the Gundersen Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
She was born March 16, 1925 in Kieler, WI, to August and Josephine Digman.
Harriet was united in marriage to Harold Lindner on September 21, 1948.
Harriet was an active member of the Sacred Heart Choir and PCCW. She liked to garden and spend time with family.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Mark) Bray of Anamosa, IA, Jerome “Jerry” (Wanda Chaplin) Lindner of Monticello, IA, Janet Marshall of Marshfield, WI, Ronald (Ruth) Lindner of Cashton, WI, Robert (Brenda) Lindner of Rice Lake, WI, Lori (Keith) Knott of Crestview, Florida, Michael (Chris) Lindner of WI and David (Jill) Lindner of Sparta, WI; a son-in-law, Bernard Schatz of Monticello, IA; a sister-in-law, Bernita Digman of Hazel Green, WI; 24 grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; her daughter, Linda Schatz; her son, Paul Lindner; two daughters-in-law, Jane and Stacy Lindner; two brothers, Edwin and Laverne (Leona) Digman; and two sisters, Evelyn (John) Lange and Marcy (Benny) Dietzel.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held today, Monday, March 13, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cashton, WI. Father Michael Klos officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Family and friends were invited for visitation Sunday, March 12, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton, concluding with a rosary at 4 p.m. Family and friends were also invited for visitation on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
