PAMELA CATE VALESKA

Labor Day 2017 marked two events: a National Holiday celebrating America’s workforce, and the passing of Pamela Cate Valeska. Pam was a beloved wife, mother, and friend.

Pam’s passing was a surprise to us all. We will feel the love she gave for years to come.

Pam was the ultimate volunteer. If someone, anyone, needed help, she was the first one there. As a military wife, she served on the Family Readiness Groups. She was the first one to prepare a meal for a family in need, drive someone to the hospital or babysit their children. She was first to sign up to assist in any and every military or family event. She enlisted others to serve as well.

Pam was also a businesswoman. She was the driving force and chef for Two Chicks and A Stove, LLP. She and her partner, Sheri Dickinson, served hundreds of meals to hungry customers around the Sparta and Tomah areas. Many a Soldier enjoyed a unit-event meal cooked by Pam.

Many people around the Sparta and Tomah area will continue to sing her praises and thank her for her loving and caring ways. She touched many lives in a positive way.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to please donate to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her name at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. If you prefer, you can go online to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and make an honor donation. This allows you to send a special notification card electronically. You can also print a mail-in donation form.

Condolences may be sent to Joseph Valeska, LTC (RET), 2100 River City Drive, Laughlin, NV 89029 or call (702) 299-0126.
