TRACY L. SYVERSON

 

June 7, 1970—May 10, 2017

   SPARTA - Tracy L. Syverson, 46, of Sparta, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus, Rochester, MN, after a three year battle with cancer.

   She was born on June 7, 1970, in La Crosse, WI, to Terry and Kathleen (Jacobson) Syverson.

   Tracy was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, spouse and friend. She had a fiery attitude and a larger spirit. She enjoyed antiquing, making crafts and especially gardening.

   Tracy graduated from Logan High School. She attended Western Technical College and earned her Associates Degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician. She worked at Black River Memorial Hospital for a few years and then worked at Mayo Clinic Health System, Sparta, for over 10 years.

   Tracy is survived by her children, Sara Docken, Ayden Lisowski, and Ryder Lisowski, all of Sparta; her mother, Kathleen Syverson of La Crosse; her brother, Travis Syverson of Menomonie, WI; her niece, Whitley Syverson of Menomonie; her fiancé, Steve Cordner and his children, Cameron and Dawson of Sparta; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

   She was preceded in death by her father, Terry Syverson.

   The family would like to thank the Sparta Area Cancer Support (SACS) and everyone who has been there during this journey.

   A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home, Sparta, with President Walter Rakow officiating.

   Family and friends are invited to call from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
